Giang Xuan Le kindly informed us about the new figures of the 101st Airborne series. rnSecond squad consists of four figures in 1/35 scale, cast in resin.

Could be any paratrooper as far as I can see. I see no resemblance with the BoB-caracters

I don't see physical resemblance either but the names of the figures are BoB names (granted, they were also real 101st Easy Company guys)

Why do figure sculptors always want to put the first aid kit on the helmet netting? It's actually quite rare from the photos I have looked at. I know it's supposed to say "AIRBORNE!!!" but I usually don't put them on or have to come up with alternate helmets without the kit.

Looking at my copy of the book the physical resemblance isn't to the actors in the TV show but the real life soldiers.
But really putting Major "dick" as the name of a figure?
