To answer your question.
Minefields are generally termed an obstacle or obstacle belt as they often have more than one type of obstacle, like tank ditch etc all designed to achieve an effect.
During an assault you initially breach the obstacle, often under fire, allowing assault forces through then reduce the obstacle, making it smaller allowing more and more forces through, then follow on forces remove it completely.
Hence the vehicle name, assault, as its designed to do it under fire so no crew exposed, breach as in the initial making and proving of the lane through the obstacle.
Hopefully clears it up without going into all the details that might be available on these sort of operations.
Thanks for review, had hoped this would come out in plastic as there are some awesome videos of its use, particularly the viper explosive charge, on the internet. Awesome vehicle, hope they do the other configuration with rollers to prove the lane rather than the blade as well.
