The Meng kit's barrel is very nice (as the photos show), but this is an improvement for super-detailers like me.

Granted the metal barrel looks nice but given the very apparent size differences (especially length wise) which one is dimensionally correct?
I have not read any reviews saying the Meng kit barrel is inaccurate, but that is not to say it is not nor that I have read them all of course!
Any Merkava experts able to clarify?
Gary

I was wondering the same thing, there is an obvious difference between the two barrels, which one is correct? (or possibly neither one is) The Magic Models barrel has some beautiful detail though.

Indeed it has sir.....but the question remains as yet unaswered by those in the know.

Hi, The barrel for Merkava 3 I made according to the drawings. I have good drawings Merkava 3. Plus I compared the barrel of Merkava 3 (MG253) and Rheinmetal 120 / L44. The barrel for Merkava is made on the basis of the German gun. Best Regards Andrei
