Looks like Hobby Fan and AFV are planning to release several versions of the M113. Very welcome news. I hope the Rapier is affordable.

Define "affordable". You tell me what that number is and I'll give a good estimate of whether it will meet your definition.

It's simply a matter of matching a given value/amount of "want" or "need" against a given cost
If the want is large enough it will be a simple matter of refraining from buying three or four armour kits and use the saved sum to finance the tracked Rapier.
What is an affordable price for a gallon of drinkable water?
Is US $200 too much? If it's in the desert and it's a matter of life or death?
There is a old swedish joke about one of our larger lakes, Siljan (136 square miles), which says that if you had Siljan in Hell you could sell it for US $10 per glass.
If the need is big enough ....

That's what I was getting at. If the guy was thinking affordable was $55 - $65, I could quickly disabuse him of that notion.

Hmmm.... Maybe it has the injection molded suspension parts of AFV Club M113?
Complaining about prices... My LHS offers Trupeter MARS Werfer for 99 Euro (108 USD). I wonder how long it will take until the kit gets discounted? I for myself have a very long breath.

I know, yet 82 Euros is a lot of money. I have to pay only 76 Euros, as Im a long term customer.

Point of reference, the Hobby Fan M752 Lance did not use any injected parts from the AFV Club M548 carrier.
