For better or worse I decided to put this together. Still needs some missing details and parts added and needs a bit of dust and grime to tone it down. Can't comment on accuracy or anything like that but will say it was an easy build with a very low parts count which was nice for a change.

Did you need to lower the wheels at all? Some builds seem to look a little low and I was planning to address that in my build. Now I'm not so sure as yours look OK!

Yes, which kit is this?

I want a new Saladin, IIRC, the first military vehicle I ever built was Tamiya's Saladin.

If this is the Dragon kit, I have to say that I have now seen a few builds of it (including this one) that proves that even a kit which has been slashed to pieces by the critics can be built into a very nice model in the right hands.

Well, this is one of the best kits in the Black Label series. Many details missing and some small errors here and there, but nothing compared to other Black Label monstrosities.

Didn't do any mods to the kit. Wheels and suspension are stock. If I had to do it over I might have added the DEF Model resin wheels.

It's the Dragon kit. Same here, the Tamiya kit was one of my first armor kits.

MR Modelbau does two sets. I used one for the turret hatches, muffler and main gun shroud. I got mine from Wanamaker Hobbies - they carry the MR Modelbau line.

I wound up mixing my own. I had a 25+ year old tin of Humbrol 75 and tried to match to that. I came up with 2 parts Tamiya XF-11(JN Green) and 1 part XF-13 (JA Green)
Looked close enough for me so I went with it.
