I have the MiniArt T-54-2 kit with plans to build a Syrian tank. There are few pictures of this tank, but at least one was photographed.

The Encyclopedia of Tanks site has color drawings of the T-54-2 in Syrian and Egyptian colors said to be before the 1967 war, however I could not find any evidence that Egypt had these tanks.

I found pictures of an unmodified T-54A being used by the Rebels, so there are very old tanks being used. Not knowing what type of numbers there were in Syrian use, what are the chances that a T-54-2 survived long enough to make it into the Syrian civil war time frame?

I have been thinking about T-54-2, with add on "armor" in rebel use as mobile artillery.

What are your thoughts on this?
