Would like some help regarding the colour scheme of Russian troops in Chechnya. I have a couple of figures depicting troops with those wooly hats and wooly collars on their jackets. Cheers

If they have the woolly collars then that is the winter issue uniform, most commonly issued in the 'Afghanka' style with the large wool collar and the small square pocket on the upper sleeves. The most commonly issued color for the first Chechen war was the mid-brown color- exactly the same as that issued in Afghanistan. This style of uniform was also issued in Flora pattern and VSR.
