Hello,
Appreciate getting advice on the color of the rockets used by this vehicle.
Cheers,

Hi Tat,
I just got back from the Pima museum not long ago, and they had one there. Off-camera, just to the left was the display. The rockets were the light blue as pictured on the ordnance here. This does NOT guarantee the legitimacy of the color. Just letting you know what I saw my friend.

I live in Tucson Az near the Pima Air Museu. I was there a few months ago for a lecture and saw the exhibit and I believe the color was the proper Luftwaffe "blue" for their aircraft. Now were the V-1's manufactured using that same color? I don't know. The Pima Air does great research.
I know we are all Armor modelers here but if you get to Arizona you need to stop and see the museum.

Thanks for taking time to reply Christian, David. Didn't expect it to be light blue -- it would seem to be the Luftwaffe color of the aircraft underside then Would these be same color as that of the Nebelwerfer projectiles? Cheers, Tat

Nebelwerfer rockets (or their nose, at least) were also the same blue.

Seems the Nebelwerfer rockets were yellow:

They were artillery ordnance, so I doubt Luftwaffe colours were involved...

Thanks all for the responses. H.P. that is quite an arms cache you have there! Doing some digging as well:
With all these photos I guess its safe to go either single color or one that has this light band on its body.
Cheers,
Tat

Following this with interest and thank you for asking the question. A parallel question is does anyone make decals for the rockets?

Peddinghaus Decals has several sets in 1/35. I've seen a couple from Archer Fine Transfers but I think these are more for the containers.
