but ...... Scout helicopters fly so low they near qualify as softskins without wheels. Anyhow, I'm working on a 1/35 OH 58D. Question .... I know the crew carried M-4s as personal weapons. Which of the Trumy 1/35 M-4s is closest to the ones the aircrews would have used in Bosnia? The pics on Evil-bay all seem to be in the blister packs and not too visible.

They would most likely be standard M4s w/ the rear sight/carrying handle and w/out the added front pistol grip at the time of Bosnia (mid-late '90s). You could ask in the Aeroscale Rotary Wing Forum (air side of Armorama) and may get a response from guys who actually flew there (Floyd Werner and others) that frequent the site. Be sure to share your build there too.

I imagine you want their M4/M4A1/M203 or XM177 sets. In that scale the M177 is pretty much indistinguishable from the M4. But you only get 2 plain M4s in the 1st set (+2 w1th 203) and the 177 set has short and long barrels. You need the long. In all cases you'll need to cut the stocks down as they're shown fully open and would have been carried closed.
