I did a long search a few weeks ago and found only 1 picture of 2 T-55AM's that are supposed to be in Syria. From the angle it is hard to say 100% if it is a T-55 or a T-62, and it's even harder to say if it is even Syria.

What are the identifying features? Not doubting it, I just can't tell them apart from this angle.

I've read that the Russians have started supplying the regime with T-62AMs recently but I've not seen a T-55AM used there. No brow or front hull armor, just the side skirts.

Had another read of the blog and the T-55 AM's did not have the applique armor installed. That's why I did not find any based on the highly visible applique.
T-62 AM's do have the applique and are common.
