I agree. I never, EVER, thought this would come out in plastic. This is going to push the $250 pricetage I imagine...I hope I am wrong but...wow. What a great announcement.

They first appeared in the late 50s, and were gone by the mid 60s. Uncle Red's answer to our Atomic Annie. Like Annie, no shots were fired in anger.

Wow what a monster! Nice to see another "I never thought I'd see that in plastic!" off the list and onto the shelves.

406 mm rifle... that's a 16" gun, like those mounted on the Iowa class battleships!

Based on the cost of their other large kits, I don't think it will push the $150 amount, at least buying it direct from China anyways. Most of their large missle and truck kits run in the $80-125 range, as do the older Leopold and Karl guns.

Trumpeter's 4K51 Rubezh retails for US$188.99
I don't think US$250 is out of the question. I will, however, take a lower price tag gladly.

Perhaps suggested retail will be $250, but I would hope it won't cost more than Hobby Boss' Dora. You can get the Rubezh for $130ish

Right now, you can purchase the Rubezh on EBay for between $80 and $100 from many of the Chinese dealers....
