Tamiya Merkava is an excellent kit. I've finally got one after wanting one for almost 20 years.
Italeri Jeep is a decent kit but has recently been surpassed by the newer Tamiya kit. It is still worth building. Revell of Germany boxes it with a machine gun in the back.
Italeri M101 105mm howitzer is another good little kit. Revell of Germany boxes this one with updated fittings for a modern Bundeswehr version.
Italeri M107 is another decent kit. It is the Vietnam era SP howitzer. Most were upgraded to the M110/M110A1 by just replacing the gun giving it greater range. The M1101 is boxed by both Italeri and Revell of Germany.
Welcome to the site.

Rob, when I only saw one reply I was bummed. When I realized it was you, I knew it was cool! Glad I ran into you over here, because, fsm is down.
