Hello again
This is the somewhat old lady from Dragon Models, which is almost build OOB. I've added some equepment from the spares box and made the tarps of tissue paper and deluted White glue.
Hope you like it.
Jacob

Hello Jacob
Beautyful work. The arrangement of the equipment, the clothlike structure of the tarp and the little leaves on the front make it come alive.
Did you cut those leaves from real fall leaves?

Jacob,
Love what you have done with this kit. Just proves what can be done in the hands of a true master. Is it going to the display case as is or into a diorama/vignette?
Cheers,
Rick

Fabulous AFV and just the right amount of wear and tear. Cracking little half track!

I'll agree with everyone else here, its quite a nice build of an old kit.
The green looks great to my eye, may I ask what paint you used?

Thank you all for the nice comments.
Walter: Yes, the leaves are made by the RP punch tool, and I did use old leaves from the garden.
Karl: You're right about the figures, but I'm just not very good at doing figures, and it takes me forever to finish them.
Maybe I should go into partnership with Jerry, his a real wizard, when it comes to doing figures.
Rick: I'm just planning for the display case, but if an idea suddenly appear, who knows.
Mike: I used mixed Tamiya colors, which was applied in a rather thin, and in some places, transparent layers.
Hope this answers your questions and comments.

Hi Jacob,

Fabulous job - one of the best SdKfz. 250s I've seen.

That is a beauty ! I love these little tracks, specially the type B version.
That would be a cool partnership,as I don't like spending all that time building roadwheels and treads, etc. I rather just do figs ! LoL

Jacob,

Super job with this! The finish is just right; convincingly grimy without looking rotted-out.

Would you consider doing a step by step on your painting techniques? I for one would love to learn from a master!

best,
Tim

Jacob- very well done on the paint job. I agree with Tim on seeing an SBS of your painting technique. The "lived in" look of the vehicle is really good!

Tim & Tim: Thank you very much, you almost make me blush.
I can only say, that I got my skills from the real masters, who makes all the "how to" articles in magazines like "Panzer Magazine", "The weathering magazines" and such.
I'm tempted to do a build blog here, but I simply don't have the time for that right now, sorry, but maybe some time in the future.
