Before i go on my holidays i will post this brief update.
This is one of the four motorized vehicles that will be on the bridge.

The back of the truck is a compleet scratch.
It is not ready yet, the fenders and the tail light has to be placed.
As well all the glasswork and the windshield wipers.
The interior of the truck has to be completed with tools and so on.
How you see the vehicle now it abosolute plain.
No wash, no drybrush , no decals...

When the truck is completely ready i will post a feature here at this site.
With the story how it was done ( with measurements ) so those who want to try can do it also. ( It is not so difficult as it seems )

B.T.W. it is a Mercedes 3000L truck from Italerie ( 1: 35 )
The work i put in it started at june 9th and this is how far i am at his point.

Nice Job Eric

Looks like the conversion from one of Verlinden's old books - always liked the idea. Eager to see what you wind up doing to it.

Eric,

like Jan pointed out, the pics don't work for me.
Wasn't Jim going to publish your story on the Mercedes 3000L here?

David,
Yup. It's next on my list of features to add. I was holding off because of all the recent changes to the site. Stay tuned!

Jim,
I didn't want to sound pushy or anything, but I was just curious...
I like the changes by the way. It seems more balanced and easier to work with.
There have been a lot of very good articles recently, so I understand that you cannot publish them all at once. You must have been swamped in work. But I like the idea of this site really taking off now, that's what it's for, right? :-)
