I'm still going with the Modelcollect kit. This looks like it supposed to be on the tabletop judging by the parts breakdown.

Hmmm...all hatches molded shut, tow cable (and tools, presumably) molded on, and no PE! Looks like they're wandering down the same road as Dragon.
