If it is based on Dragon's #6359 kit, it was not a bad depiction of a late Su-100, at all.
Let's wait to see the actual kit and its content...
I tend to trust more on some older Dragon kits than on the majority of their latest releases.
It's not too much, but it's all we got...

Updated? Does this mean it'll have the distinctive Czech exhaust housings?

Quote from news item
"This SU-100 is most definitely a ONE-OFF item, and customers won’t be able to obtain it ever again. "
Who told you that ? I reckon there are a few purchasers of Dragon's White Box Exclusive Limited Edition kits who would dispute that statement.

I'm just happy that I can source an SU-100 again after being continuously out of stock for some time.

It is part of the announcement text. I am no one to judge if it is true or not, my task is just informing.

Buying a whole kit is an expensive route to obtain those Czech exhaust guards when you can buy them from Shapeways or in resin. I'd also be interested to know if the bin on the front right trackguard is included, although as I have an old kit I will scratchbuild mine.
