I succesfully used the chipping fluid some years ago but forgot the process.I will lay down a basecoat of enamel, after I will spray the fluid,my question is how long do I let the fluid dry before applying the acrylic topcoat, and how long do I let that dry before chipping ?

Thanks for the help.

Wait until they are pretty much dry to the touch in both scenarios

I would recommend painting with acrylics, followed by the chipping product. It doesn`t take too long to dry,a couple of minutes, then go with the paint of choice. If you wand weathering effects, then i suggest to go with enamel paint(after the chipping fluid) as its more controllable to wipe away with water. If you use acrylics again, don`t wait too long to start chipping, again, half an hour or so is enough.
That being said, the chipping procedure changes every time, the amount of the fluid is the factor, humidity, thickness of the paint layer....

AK has a youtube channel that updates almost weekly. I think the use of there chipping fluid is one of there early videos. Also the AK app is a good source too. The have color pdf type tech sheet for a majority of there products. I use it from time to time when im trying to achieve a certain effect.

apply base coat seal it, spray your chipping fluid, then spray your coat you want to chip , wait until just dry start chipping, if you want more seal each coat, so you don't lose what you have already, continue on.
Seal final coat of cause.

Anthony. Im pretty certain that AK Chipping fluid and AMMO chipping fluid are the same composition. Both AK and AMMO have videos on YouTube.

Here is an AMMO of Mig Demo...

Again thanks for the suggestions.I went with the enamel basecoat, the AK Worn Effects Fluid, and Vallejo top coat. The chipping went fine.I let the enamel dry 24 hours, the fluid and the acrylics just 15-20 minutes, dryvto the touch.I didnt flood with water, just damp, used q-tip and tooth picks,I think it came fairly decent, didnt want to overdo.
