I wonder if anyone could advice me on drawings etc for the launch vehicle for HAWK missile batteries ?
I don't know if my memory fails me, but wasn't there a 1/35 kit of this some/many years ago?

Both Renwal and Adams (later Life Like Modles) made the "Hawk Missile Battery" kits. The actual Hawk units consisted of a towed launcher, a generator trailer, a radar and ground control unit trailer, and a lengthened five ton truck used to transport additional missiles, as well as several auxiliary vehicles. The Renwal kit was in 1/32 scale and only consisted of the radar and launch trailers I believe-- it's been a while now. The Adams/Life Like kit had the radar/communications unit, launch traler and a power unit as I recall. It was in 1/40 scale. There may be a resin 1/35 kit out there, I haven't kept up with Hawk kits for the last several years.

The M727 was the tracked launcher and no plastic kit exists in 1/35 scale. I vaguely remember a resin kit, perhaps by Nimix? AFV Club made an M730 Chaparral that could be modified, but is hard to find. Maybe more available is their M548 kit.
Good luck!

Actually, that's not the launcher depicted in the box top--that's the tracked transporter which unloaded the missiles off the supporting 5-ton truck and onto the launcher which was a towed trailer with outrigger support jacks. The Adams 1/40 kit also came with this.
