An excellent kit to start.Do you plan to not attach the top?
If you do,most of the interior will be hidden.That would be a real waste.Not familiar with Malvinas.What country and what conflict?

Great built!

I have built the same variant from Academy (twice) but the HobbyBoss kits looks so much finer, and it has an interior.

Looking forward to see this one done.

It was when Argentina tried to recover the islands south of the country. The conflict is more commonly known as Faklands War.

The figures are from a modified Miniart kit (German Tank Crew, Winter 1943-45) No. 35021.
The LVTP-7 crewmember is a Hobby Fan figure - HF728 (M60 Tank Commander)
All modified and transformed to Infantry Regiment 25 and an IMARA driver.

Hi Tom
The idea is to do it with the back door open. The overhead gates open, as do the gates of the vehicle personnel.

I made all the stowage by some pictures of the conflict. The Argentinan Army used some clothes of israelí origin.

Nice work Omar!!! Good idea to use the germans kit to represent the Argentine Army Dubon. I have scratch built the ammo pouches both the leather and Tempex versions used in Malvinas. How did you make the copies?

Sorry I didn´t make copies, but It´s easy to make with putty of two components, like used by a craftsman.

Bien echo, senor (sorry I am not able to add the enye mark). I have been following this build because I am thinking of building the Hobby Boss kit to portray a vehicle of the 5 battalion de Marinera on the first day of the Invasion. My research so far shows that they had about 20 of these vehicles ashore on the first day near Stanley. Do you know if the vehicle numbers were consecutive (01,02...11 etc.)? Also, did the weather turn colder after the invasion? I have seen pictures of the first day where some Argentinian troops are wearing T-shirts, shirts and the U.S. 1950s style field jackets rather than the Israeli-style puffy winter coat. What do you think?
