I've read somewhere here, that somebody got in a pinch, and found out that you can use it to thin some kind of paint, but I can't remember which, so I was wondering if somebody can refresh my memory? Thank You in advance.

I've used (under suggestion of some member of the Armorama Benelux community if I'm not wrong) for oils and enamels.

Sorry for that! Yes I've used it with success and to be more specific I used the Zippo and the Ronson. They dry very fast and this can be a pro or a con...

When I used to work with enamels alot in my younger days, I would use the Ronsonol, not so much as a thinner, but as a flattening agent for Testor's paints. It does seem to shorten the drying time, and really helps take the sheen off. I haven't tried it with acrylics yet, though.

I thank you Road Kill, that is the story I seen, I could remember reading about it, but didn't know where, or what it was used with, just that it was about Zippo. Thanks again Road Kill
