Not an airship really; an airship provides a cabin for a pilot and/or crew because it can be moved using its own power. This is a barrage balloon they've attached a basket to so a soldier can get a better field of view. It has no ability to move without external help.

Hopefully, there were no Soviet fighters present. I wonder if the "airships" wre crewed by Luftwaffe personal? According to H. Göhring " Everthing that flies belong to me"
