Matthew Lim of Singapore has shared his images of a recent M2A2 ODS build with us. You can check out the pics below. Here is what Matthew had to say about his project.

This a Tamiya 1/35 M2A2, this built is plainly out of the box... The only
thing is that the range finder is not added to the model... This kit is
specifically built under the supervision of M workshop's Bernard Cher... If
you like to see more works of modellers under his brand,
www.themworkshop.com... Thanks for viewing my model...

Matt.
Thanks
Singapore

Beautiful job. This only goes to show that you can make an outstanding model out of the box without having to go nuts correcting every single inaccuracy. Most of us can't tell the difference anyways . Excellent painting and weathering is what really makes this build stand out. I'm curious how Mr. Lim made the subtle differences in shading, was it by airbrush, pastel, or washes? Excellent job!

That's a very nice build. Cudos to the painting! I love the many and varied subtle weatherings effects. Like YS had said, it's reassuring to know that we don't need to spend so much time and money on aftermarket kits.

Thanks for sharing that Matt.

Hi Guys,

Call me Matt, its ok... no need to be formal (I' m only a recruit)... Haha!!!
The 80% of painting was all done by airbrush... In my models i have yet to learn how to use pastels... So only Gunze Sanyo Paints are use...
The method of painting, if i remember correctly is Pre-shading... where is airbrush the whole model with the shadow coat 1st... then the main colour and the highlight coat... My master and i treat all modelling ike ART... As the government is promoting ART, we hope this help... HAHA!!!

Matthew (Mattz.)
Thanks Guys
Singapore.
