Hello all (especially European hobbyists),
Can you direct me to any hobby shops in Düsseldorf, Germany? I'll be traveling there in 2 weeks and want to pick up some Italeri and Revell Germany armors for cheap.
Thank you in advance.

James,
you'll want to go to “Menzels Lokschuppen“ on 6, Friedrich St. You can google them at M.L.de, and they regularly have kits of all makers marked down. Apart from that, they're the only model shop worth mentioning in town, with all prices already being below list prices.
Happy shopping,
Peter

Hi James,

I would second that. M.L.'s main emphasis is trains, but they have a nice little armor section in the back.

Have fun in D-Dorf,

Jerry

Be sure to eat at Schweine Jane's. Diddledorf doesn't have GREAT eating, but the Haxen there and roasted chicken are both delicious.

If you have a car then King Models is nearby.

http://www.kingmodels.de/katalog/gx2/

That is a pure model shop and quite big. Yes, their website/shop is a catastrophe and the shop on the outside (and inside) has a bit of a "lost places" charm. But they have a good sized program (no Dragon / no new Dragon stuff IIRC)

Back from Germany. Went to Menzels Lokschuppen and Schweine Jane's - didn't get to try a roasted chicken though. Pork was delicious!

Picked up a Roden M47 truck kit at ML. Good price and selection there.

Thanks all!
