Hi,
I'm nearing completion of an M46. It will be a USMC tank in the Korean war. I want to add figures and make a little dio so have bought this set:

My question is: are these figures only good for US Army in Korea? Or would they also work for USMC?
Thanks
Matthew

Those figures won't work for Korea.
Tank crew in Korea wore fatigues with field jackets not tanker's jackets. And even Marine tank crew didn't wear the high top canvas lace up leggings as in the one figure in the picture.
There were a few isolated veterans in the Army who had tankers jackets but they were a rare item in Korea.
The tanker's jacket was out of inventory as an issue item.

The one on the left is a USMC tank commander (summer 1950) :

Thanks Stephen, Frenchy,
So the figures I've got are way off.
With a lot of scraping, putty, blood, sweat, tears and cursing, I could try to convert them to fatigues and appropriate boots.
Or I could save them for a WWII build and buy something off the peg.
Are there any kits out there that would be correct for Korean war USMC tankers?
Cheers
Matthew

This is the only one I am aware of. DEF Model makes a few walking Marines and 2 jeep riders, too.

Miniart US Tank crew has figures in the herringbone twill that is close to the Maine dungarees . Miniart Close Combat US tank crew also has figures in plain fatigues. The figures from the old Tamiya M4 Sherman early were in shirt sleeves and would work for warm weather.
