Hey all here is tamiyas venerable old 251 with the #eduard etch set. It's about 80% done as of this post.
The etch added a nice amount of detail to the Spartan interior and although it doesn't correct any errors it dresses it up nicely.
Best with me whist I get used to imgur.
Interior paint
Basecoat and modulation
The camo was from an AK profile with dark grey sprayed over the dunkelgelb
Decals and oil modulation and a bit of chipping
Hopefully will post more soon.

Amazing! Just goes to show that skill, and a little PE can turn even the oldest tamiya kit into a masterpiece!

Super Nice Job James!!
Its just awesome when these old kits get some Love...you don't always need the "latest" nor "greatest" to turn out a beautiful build.

I just finished up my Tamiya Hanomag tonight. Yours is leaps and bounds nicer with the PE. But your paint job is pretty cool to.

Massive difference! That looks great. I built a couple of these years ago and found them not long back. No comparison to the DML 251's I've built as they're conspicuously lacking in detail. You've transformed yours James. Cracking job on it.
