Anyone else see this. Hobbyeasy has it listed with a release date of 8/25. It was never announced on Meng's website.

Hobby Boss also announced a kit of the ZTZ-96B on Face Book the past few days.

Trumpeter announced it yesterday on there fb page. It could be a mistake or trumpeter got word that meng is going to release a ztz 96b and therefore announce it quick on there fb page...its not an uncommon practice for trumpeter. Hence the usage of a real life photo on there fbpage. They did the samething when meng announced the t-72b3! If meng is going to release chinese armor they better work on the ztz 80/88 and 85 series.

The Hobby Easy site clearly shows a Meng box art kit# TS034.
Trumpeter and Hobby Boss are owned by the same parties and their Face Book posting clearly shows the photo of a ZTZ-96B in the Russian Tank Olympics with the Hobby Boss logo/watermark in the picture. But no kit# assigned.

This announcement comes very handy!
I was going to get the old HobbyBoss Ztz 96A to convert it to the B version.
Since I want to depict the tank that took part in the 2016 Russian Tank Biathlon, Meng's release is great news for me.
While I'm more accustomed to work with Trumpeter kits and plastic, this time I will not wait -nor hold my breath- for Treumpeter/Hobb Boss' one...
