I have Dragon kit 6417 replicating Georg Bose's StuG III and want to gather up what I need to do it right.
Apparently, the kit is mostly like his vehicle, but there are a few questions I have about it.
Are there any photos of his vehicle? I have scoured the Google, but not much as far as real photos, and plenty of the kit built up,in various makeups.
Did his vehicle have side skirts? I have seen it built both ways as a kit, but nothing showing one way or the other in a period photo.
There is also supposed to be an additional bit of armor in a wedge shape in front of and attached to the cupola. I have seen one very blurry photo of Lt Bose in the cupola that kind of shows it, and one built up kit with it installed but that is it.
Any help would be appreciated.
