Since the Polish Army still uses Russian weapons, I think you can`t go wrong with some guns like AK-74 and RPM.
Err, nope. Polish Army never used Soviet/Russian AK-74. What you see in photos is either Polish Tantal 5.45mm assault rifle (retired in 2005 - most sold to Iraq) or Beryl 5.56mm assault rifle. Both are somewhat similar to AK rifles (particularly the Tantal, which had several components interchangeable with AK-74), but not the same.
Not sure what you mean by RPM - if you mean PKM, then indeed it is still used, although being replaced by Polish UKM-2000, which is using NATO 7.62mm ammunition. UKM-2000 is also similar to PKM in appearance. I believe that in Afghanistan only weapons using NATO ammunition were used.
On the other hand, as both weapons are similar in appearance to Soviet weapons, it could be acceptable to use Soviet guns in this scale.
The MSBS rifle you mentioned has not been introduced to active Polish Army use yet (other than for test and as a parade weapon).
