Looking to pick up a flat clear coat to use on my current project. XF-21 was recommended, I'll have to order it though. LHS has 3 cans of TS80 on his shelf. Anybody used the TS80? Sounds like just a spray can version of Tamiyas flat clear coat. I use their spray primer with excellent results. Needing this clear flat coat to go over Future after I apply decals.

XF-21 is "Sky" according to Tamiya XF paint charts. XF-86 is "Flat Clear" and is suitable for airbrushing.
If you are referring to X-21, that is their "Flat Base". It is intended as a flattening agent for gloss paints. It is not intended as a final flat coat.
Whoever "recommended" that as a final flat coat is not knowledgeable enough to make such recommendations.
I have no experience with TS 80, but it should suffice for your needs. Spray in light coats until the final sheen is achieved.

X-21 is what I meant. I'll go pick up some TS80 then. Thanks!
