The kit is a MONSTER!!.. I did it just to work on my painting/shading/weathering skills, and no decals.

That's a pretty good looking kit you've got there. Was it a difficult build? The overall finish looks pretty good and the weathering is nicely understated. It's easy to overdo a dusty paintjob (I'm very guilty of this) but you did a good job with yours. The only thing I have any doubts about is that the shading seems a touch overdark. I'm not sure if it's the pics or some funky color settings on my monitor, but there just seems to be almost too much contrast between light and shadowed areas. It's not a huge issue, like if you had painted that sucker blue with pink polka dots, but it's just a little something that seemed to stick out to me. Still, well done overall.

The build itself was ok. The turret is a beast...the fit was all wrong. So I had to do a lot of filling and sanding. I used the eduard PE set and that helped a little. Thanks for the kind words, also. When I did the pre-shading, I laid down the basecoat, which was a 80-20 mix of tamiya brown and black, respectively, with a few drops of white. I then used tamiya buff with a little bit of brown for the panel shading. I also found that if I lightly run the sharp edge of my exacto along the edges...it pulled up the topcoat and exposed the basecoat. A nice little effect I got there.
