Hi I finished my A10 two weeks ago & yes it is a good kit to put together you just need to watch the fit of the PE hull brackets that go behind the suspension. It is not suitable for the desert as it stands. It has none of the desert requirements; the sand shield on the one side, the 2 gallon POW rack on the rear. The sides of the rear intake boxes have no rivet detail on them & look very plain without them. The aerial base has taken quite a bit of putting together, not as much as the A13!
The colours on the box art are rubbish & are just in the mind of the artist. We did not use multi coloured camo schemes except for the Caunter scheme which was very specific running from back to front of the vehicle & did not contain blue.

shame about the lack of desert equipment but that can be added or I can use the ones from my unbuilt Cromwell models one if they fit. I wonder what happened to the gecko models one? Disappeared into the same dimension as the Mirror Models LRDG truck I suppose.

I want this but is it over engineered?

It is by far the easiest Bronco Kit I have seen and may even be a new direction to make their kits more attractive to a wider audience.

Is the caunter-scheme itself (shape-wise) correct?

As I said above the colours ran from front to back. If you search for A9 cruiser tank you will find the correct diagram for the scheme which was used on all the tanks up until the Crusader. Also If you search for Caunter Camouflage in the images there should be a swatch with the correct colours on, Mike Starmer is the man to go to for the colours & designs, he has done research over many years & has booklets on British Camouflage If you go onto Missing-lynx.com & search for Mike Starmer mixes you will have all you need for an accurate model.
