I have a couple of Projects in the works
1. Canadian M113A3
I know legend makes a Canadian specific conversion for academy's M113 and as far as the tracks do i need to replace the kit tracks with the AFV Club M113 NATO tracks?
2. Canadian Coyote
would it be easier to build the Coyote from Trumpeter's
ASLAV or the LAV-A2?
any help will be appreciated

I believe I has seen the ASLAV is the route to go, and I believe that is the base kit for the Real Models conversion.

Yes. The M113 A1G NATO tracks will work but at some point they started to introduce the Soucy rubber band style track to some of the Canadian M113 fleet.

If you need an ASLAV kit, let me know - I have one for sale on evil-bay.
