This is my last effort, the kit is the Flyhawk FT-17 Cast Turret in 1:72 scale,a real little jewel, has been painted with Humbrol Enamel, all by brush,wash and effect with Oils, Enamels, AK and Ammo, MIG pigments and metal parts With AGAMA metalizer Paste .....

P.S: ... I realized now that I had forgotten to paint in metallic the parts of the tracks in contact with the ground ...... i do this evening!...

Okay, this is the mini Diorama that accompanies the Tank, the wall is produced by Italeri and part of the rubble and bricks are of Juweela, the cubbulestone and sidewalk are carved in clay ... if you have comments, questions or criticisms i am more than Happy to replay!... do not be shy!...

Thank you John!... ... for me this is the first 1/72 from the early 90's, I can only tell you that if you want to try a tank on braille scale take a flyhawk, are really jewelery in miniature both as a detail and as an easy assembly. ..smooth as silk .... and when the detail is so good the painting gets much easier.

Did you did the same model? ... after 25 years from the last 1/72 I was impressed by the detail and quality, I thought I would sell all my kits in 1/35 and give me totally At 1/72, the only thing that stops me is the quality and quantity of figures in braille scale

Mine's the riveted turret. In retrospect I wish that Flyhawk had included one of each (cast, and riveted) in the box instead of two the same. Totally agree on the quality and degree of detail on ALL Flyhawk kits - they also have an impressive line of 1/700 ships. It's unfortunate no company gives a crap about 1/72 figures - unless you want to buy expensive resin castings. Although, there are some acceptable figures by Plastic Soldier Company, and Zvezda produce some small war-gaming sets of Brits, Germans, and Soviets. Detail is very good considering they're meant for the gaming crowd. If you can still find them, Dragon released some 1/72 German vehicles with down-scaled DS figures from their 1/35 line Soft plastic figures are right out!

I was looking for French tankers for FT-17, but I did not find anything, however you're right Flyhawk would do well to put 2 kind of turret for each box, but we could exchange it between us .... no? ... . What do you think? ... decal included!

Towing cables and load belts are self-built, I lost some diotry but I managed to do the buckles, the cable and the buckles are made with copper wire taken from an old clock movement it contains several meters it is fine As much as a hair, the straps are made of Tamiya tape the rest all OP

Well done, a lovely little vignette. The tank is excellent and I like the groundwork very much. You have an good eye for detail and the muddy road is very cleverly done, fits in very well with the muddy tank. It would be nice to have some figures, but I am afraid we are not as fortunate as the 1/35 crew in that sphere. Still there are some nice sets out there and here is one by a Polish manufacturer that would pass muster for a French crew. I have this set and it is very nicely done...

I hope you continue to make Braille stuff, you obviously have a flair for it. I don't know if you will be happy with some of the other kits out there, Flyhawk are the best of the bunch at the moment, I can thoroughly recommend their PzII Luchs, a stunning kit.

Paul, first thanks to your words, there are 2 reasons why I keep back from giving me totally to the Braille scale, the difficulty in finding quality figurines ,because it's one of my passions, in fact I try intercalary AFV with 54 or 75mm figurines, the second Reason is that I'm going from IIWW to IWW and it's not easy to find all the Tank of thease period like also Figurines and Accessories in this scale .... or maybe I did not try enough ,I have to admit that the PzII Luchs is on my wish list!

The figurines of your link are perfect! ... just what I've been looking for so much, unfortunately it's late, if I had found them before I would leave the doors of the turret open! ..... will be for the next, thank you very much!
