I bought mine at Walmart. They always seem to have one for about $100, the brands vary.
The last one I bought was a Coleman Powermate.

I've ordered my AB. I use CO2 myself. I use my garage compressor as a backup.

Some decent prices, no name brands though. Have you purchased anything from them before?

Hi there melon. I have two compressors right now. One is the Testor's mini blue compressor & the other one is a 2 gal. pancake compressor. The mini one I use when I airbrush inside the house 'coz it creates little noise. The pancake compressor is a bit noisy but well I got it for only $30. I recommend that you check out Husky, Porter-Cable, or Campbell-Hausfeld brands at Lowe's or Home Depot. Regards.

Cardinal,
Do you ever have any problem with the lilttle blue one? Does it produce enough PSI while you are using it. I have a cheap one I bought at walmart, some discount model that was 50.00. It works, but surprisingly it seems to not be able to keep up with my normal usage. Nor with it allow me to work with anything less than 40 PSI, unless the tank is low. Just bought it too, about 3 mos ago, really was a waste.

have you thought about a secondary pressure regulator? if you can find one that is rated for say, 20 psi, it might help you out

thanks for all the advice.
I regards to the additon of a pressure regulator, the one I have is junky, I am afraid to tamper with it. The first one I bought actually broke off when I turned it on. It isnt really a quality machine, most likely made for blowing up tires, playground balls and blowing dust. But it does work for single color models, ie OIF and Desert Storm subjects.
Thanks again to all, I now have some more info to work with.
