To all,
I seem to recall a series of excellent reference photos here on the T29/T30 series of US Heavy Tanks, especially turret top features. I recall that the vehicles were under roof in an open structure, perhaps @ Ft. Benning? So far, my searches here have goose-egged. Any help and guidance would be appreciated!
TIA,
The Last Dinosaur

I remember the photos you are referring to Matt, I think they were in a thread about the upcoming release of those kits, but the photos may have fallen prey to the Photobucket Blackout.

Maybe you could check out Matt Flegal's Photobucket dedicated album (more than 400 pics to browse through...) :

Sadly, Matt was kind of an idiot and only climbed up on the T29E3 and has been kicking himself for not climbing on the T34 and especially the "vanilla" T29. The memory card was full but it didn't occur to me that the turret tops would be noticeably different from one another!

Thanks for posting those links Frenchy, and Matt don't feel bad about not getting photos of all the Tanks you wish you had. I remember seeing the Skeleton tank, and saying to myself, nah, who would want to build that! Now that I have contracted "Chronic Prototype Disorder" I have been trying for the past few years to scratch one! I've got everything but some needed shots of the fighting compartment, and I could have gotten all I wanted back then for 5 minutes of work!
Who's your Idiot now LOL!
