I believe he's taking a swipe at me and the thread I started which has now reached 39 pages. It still pales in comparison to the length of the Live Resin thread. Joe, if it'll make you feel any better, I had cleared it with Jim Starkweather months back and he said it was fine. I also checked with Darren Baker a while before that and he said it was OK. So far, I haven't heard anything from other companies (except for two but those were for different, positive matters) requesting me to change or stop and neither the publishers or site admins have contacted me about the practice.

Maybe.
My personal view is that it is more of a valuable community service for us modelers. Provide the required info and Mike designs the parts for 3D-printing.
The last items were Sterling sub-machine guns in different scales (folded or extended stocks, no silencers).

Gents this thread was run passed us before it was started. We do not see it as an advertisement; we see it more as a wish list by the membership for replacement parts.

Really ?? ... there is someone who takes the trouble to meet our most desperate wishes and we complain?... ... it does it in return for $$$? ....yes, but the only person that I (not personally) know that doing such things for free is dressed in red, is obese, has a white beard and every now and then says oh-oh-oh ...

Just wondering how folks would feel if Tamiya or Hobby Boss threw up a post asking what they should build next and saying they would be happy to try everything that we listed? And they answered questions and discussed accuracy. How long would that thread be? Free advertising maybe, but why would it be wrong?

Oh really? Maybe down under but up here in the cold north (59 degree latitude) the parents have to buy the gifts first otherwise the fat guy in red would come with an empty sack

If ANY model company did this or even showed the slightest interest in what modellers wanted the thread would be into the hundreds of pages.

I think it's a great Idea, someone is willing to take ideas directly from the readers here and produce parts when feasible, using the forums to talk about the items and getting ideas input from many people that I don't think would be possible in another venue.

Guess you can make it 40 pages since this thread draws attention to it.

Ha ha, yes!

Perhaps Joe should charge an affiliate fee for directing customer traffic to MikeyBugs95's business?

Childishness runs rampant these days...

It was approved by the staff.

The staff has weighed in on this very thread with yet another approval.

Nothing to see here... Except CHILDISHNESS...
