Hi Guys,

I thought I had seen pic's of a mounted Russian 45mm pak gun on a sdkfz 250, but after numerous looks through concord books can't find were I had seen it!!
If anyone has pics or links showing such, would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers Mike

Never seen a Russian 45 mm on an SdKfz 250, just the standard German 37 mm, and I've been looking at German half track photos since the 1970's. I'm not saying such a modification was never done, but I've just never seen it.

The guns do resemble each other, since the Soviet weapon was derived from the smaller German gun (the Soviets wanted a more useful HE round, and the larger caliber allowed that). The gun shields were nearly identical--is it possible you misidentified the gun in the original photo?

Hi Gerald,
Yes that is entirely possible that I did misidentify it, but I did think it had the longer barrel & caption stating that it was a 45mm also, but again that could have been a mistake as well.

Damn I was hoping for some proof lol
Cheers Mike
