I noticed in their offering Hobby Boss included 2 different style commanders panoramic housings. Question-does anyone know which one would be the latest or more recent and correct one to use?

Well the ZTZs can be another Enigma as far as variant's go, and like Panda did on there kit it all depends on the Export variant ! its going to come down to how much info; that you can gather on the enet and then choose which Mk; that you want to build, There just is not that much info; that you can find on features on A specific vehicle.
Try and watch one of the utube videos on the Biathlon in Russia and try to ident a vehicle.

Thanks Mike!!! Yeah I'd like to get more into the Chinese modern armor but you're right reference is nil. A credit to the Chinese government I'd say LOL

I remember seeing the pictures on CDF last year where members pointed out the different sights. The smaller sight was similar or the same as the one on the older model of the tank. The newer and larger sight is mounted on the new tank. Forum members speculated that maybe the initial production batches used the older (small) sight. The newer sight was sort of shaped like a bucket.

Based on reference photos and my Panda build I would say E43 is the go that is the type I assumed and used.
