Hello everyone,
I decided to get the Hong Models Shilka instead of the Meng kit because of the supposed accuracy issues Meng had. 6 hours into the build I am starting to realize this might have been a huge mistake. The number of fit issues is incredible. Also, the instructions seems to show parts going into holes or slots that don't exist and that are not even outlined. There also seems to be a large amount of flash present, compared to Dragon and Meng models, or even Tamiya for that matter.
Did I get a lemon or is everyone else having the same bad experience with Hong Models?

I can't really comment on the rest of you mail, but...what do you mean by "or even Tamiya for that matter"? I honestly don't think you can find more flash-free kits than the Tamiya ones.

I agree. I included Tamiya as a third choice in my list of companies I like.
