I have always been fascinated by the little russian artillery tractor. I am even more intrigued by the German captured ones. My question is what guns would the Germans have hauled around with the T-20s and for that matter the fins too. I am interested in options for towing not guns retrofitted to top of tractor.

The Germans would probably have hauled around the PaK 40, and any AT gun smaller than it, or maybe a LefH 18 howitzer or Nebelwerfer. Hope this helps

10.5 cm leFH 18 howitzer :
15 cm SiG33 howitzer :
I'll let the guns ID to you
A sledge ?
Not what you're looking for, but here's an interesting conversion :

I would say the PaK40 was too heavy for this tractor, and even more the leFH18... PaK38 and PaK36 would fit better (IMHO).

Frenchy !
This is a contraption to smooth the surface of the road.
The neighbour at our summerhouse built something similar from steel profiles to grind down the raised centerline of the field/forrest "road" that connects us to the public road.
Sometimes there is also a "flatbed" on top which can be loaded with rocks to get some extra weight.
A close inspection will reveal an angled plank/steel bar at the bottom of this "sledge", it sticks out at the right edge of the image.

Dragon makes what I consider to be a very nice PAK 38 and the kit is available as either an eastern front winter dressed crew or a late war crew appropriate for Normandy through the end of the war.

Hi Robin
To say the truth, I was not satisfied with the "sledge" theory...I'm sure the Finns would know how to built a better-looking sledge than this...
Thank for the explaination
