Looks like they are going into production. So who will be the first to scratchbuild one, because we all know what happens when we scratchbuild something!

Cool. Not sure how this will impact models, as most of the upgrade seems to be stuff you can't see. But thanks for sharing that.

Hate to cut against the grain here old chap.
I'd say, I rather like the new look. Soon I anticipate a Hobbyboss release.

I don't know- the pictures make it look like there are lots of differences in the hull between this and the AAVP

Upgraded AAV
HobbyBoss with enhanced armour
and without
and with only the attachment points
The boxy look of the new upgrade certainly looks different to my half-century old eyes
I'll just have to build something from the stash while I wait ...
/ Robin
Edit: I don't know why my mind wandered to this image:
maybe something about the look around the headlights...

Try this one out, right from the SAIC website. Lots of P7 RAM/RS footage but good AAV SU footage as well.

Very nice. A conversion doesn't look that difficult for the exterior. The interior also gets a new armored floor and impact/IED protected seats.

Does anyone have views from above looking down? Has the roof / hull top changed? It does look temping to model.
