I read on another thread that it is the color that best matches British 1960's Bronze Green. Problem: impossible to obtain. What else is close enough? The paint4models site does not list Revell Enamel paints-or does so in a different format.

If it doesn't have to be enamel at all price, there is also an Ammo of Mig NATO Green (A.MIG-0084) which should be the same: http://www.migjimenez.com/en/real-colors/134-acrylic-nato-green.html

There is also a NATO set with the same color, plus brown and black (A.MIG-7114): http://www.migjimenez.com/en/acrylic-sets/189-nato-colors-set.html

Plus, of course the Revell Aqua 65 which I'm personally using and which sprays great when diluted with IPA.

Revell enamel 65 is just about spot on - but it does require a gloss varnish.

If the Aqua colour is the same then it too, will need a gloss varnish.

"NATO Green" is unlikely to work; whist the British Army changed from Bronze Green to the green/black scheme in the early 70s - and these assuredly were matt colours - Bronze Green remained, as ever, a high lustre gloss colour.

If this is linked to your earlier question about Centurions in a US finish, then please see my response to the post; whilst it doesn't confirm Centurions in such a scheme one way or another, it might be of some use (!)

I note that Humbrol do produce a "Matt" Bronze Green No 75 - but I haven't tried using that. If it's anywhere near the Revell version, again, it will require glossing.

It relates actually. I was thinking of using a Centurion dozer tank, as it's the only appropriate one readily available.

Berlin Brigade Centurions were in US OD, for some odd reason, at lest from what I read on the net where nothing is true

The full Revell number is 32165, not just 65. I does work if you enter that.

I did, and it listed Tamiya AS9 spray (which I have) as a match.

Now I await the people who say that the color is not going to be right at all.
