Now that these vehicles are being deployed in Iraq, I'd think there will be a lot of interest in them. It's a shame we did not have them available at the beginning of OIF. When the 173rd captured that arifield in northern Iraq, the striker would have been the ideal vehicle. We could have airlifted an entire striker brigade, had a much more potent northern front, shortened the war, and perhaps even discouraged some of the post campaign gurella activity. It will be interesting to see how they perform in actual combat. Is anybody we know of planning to release a striker kit in either 1/35 or 1/72?

You mean a Stryker? My guess is when the actual vehicle stops going through its teething phase and the different production variants are completed. The model companies are probably leary of producing a kit only to have the final production prototype differ in such a way that the model building community is in an uproar saying, "It would have been a winner if it wasn't a pre-production prototype."

Once Italiari comes out with a Stryker (come on you know they'll be first) it shouldn't be too long before Eduard comes with a photo etch set, Verlindian will come out with an expensive and somewhat inaccrate conversion for the Canadian one, and someone probably Archer will have dry transfer sets for every variant out there!!! #:-) Come one you know it'll happen.
