Okay I give up........ just go to "my gallery" and look at the "Tactical Fire Engine"
It would make a terrific model!

I posted a photo of it in my motor pool about a year ago. Supposedly we are supposed to be one of the fielding sites (covering Northeastern US).
A friend of mine named Richard Brissette sent me photos of his in progress TFFT that he was building. I thought I posted his shots in my gallery. He did some outstanding work on creating one out of scratch (and an Italeri HEMTT kit). Let me reiterate that the model was not made by me.

Wow Rob,
As usual, thx for the ref pics! Especially the 'in-progress' photos. Makes one think...........nah, I've already got waaaaaaaay too many irons in the fire!

Hi guys, I posted some more pictures of the Tactical Fire Fighting Truck (TFFT) in my gallery. Sabot several of my bretheren went to Pierce Manufacturing in December to pick up are new Engine (Pumper) and a Rescue Truck. One TFFT was on the finishing floor and they said the sheer size was impressive of course they all wanted to drive it :-)
From what I understand the trucks are going to be issued for Army Reserve Units assigned to Homeland Defense?

Hi guys,
For some excellent info on HEMTT's, HET's,TFFT's & MTVR's etc, etc try the Oshkosh website :
Oshkosh Defence
Click on the brochures, they have some great multi-view drawings, none of the TFFT though .
Happy modelling
