Old Tamiya kit with a few fixes; corrected sight aperature on roof, scratch flammenvernichter exhaust, gun sight, periscopes, fender springs, tool clamps and white metal steel road wheels. Scratch pine tree.
Commander still needs some headphones. Shot with iPhone, so image quality leaves something to be desired...

Sounds like you need to switch to a Samsung Galaxy. Best phone camera I've owned thus far.

Thanks for the complements Kelly Zak. The tree is made from a Douglas Fir root, with other smaller roots added for more branches. Lichen clumps were glued to the branch ends, then AB some PVA glue on the ends and sprinkled with static grass. I should have made the branches separate though and then glue them to the trunk, that way I wouldn't have static grass on the inside parts of the branches.

Everything about this build is excellent .
The tank camo - beautiful .
The groundwork - beautiful .
I like the way you added the pick and shovel to show the berm in front of the tank was just made by the crew .
Very cool !!

Very nicely done. I get a hinky feeling from the machine pistol's aspect. A right-handed user would have likely lain the weapon down with the pistol grip to his right and the barrel pointed more to the bow, er, front. I suggest flipping the weapon over if you can and compare the way you feel about how it looks facing the two directions. I think one way would seem more natural than the other.
But yeah, Great Job!

Thanks for the comments everyone! Funny thing about the MP40. Everything is glued down, except the commander, (still working on him) and the MP40, which fell off while photographing. I just dumped it back on, not paying attention to it's original orientation. It was actually properly aligned as Phil stated it should be. Order has now been restored!

It bugs me that I didn't scratch build the canvas roof cover tie-downs around the fighting compartment, I may fix that yet. Need to make a few more branches for camo too. I'll probably add some tree roots into the dirt as well and some more stowage. I just don't know when to stop sometimes.
I'd also like to thank my dead summer lawn for providing the ideal backdrop for my model's photo shoot....

Top-notch work all around. I especially like how you weathered the JPIV in a "used but not abused" manner. Thanks for sharing your fine work!
