On my bench right now for the Korean War. Question: I have photoetch weld seams. Should they be added to the turret? It's a Model 1944 and I'm not sure the name of the turret version.

Depends where you mean. The seams that you see on the sides of the casting are from the join lines of the mould sections so they are not welds. I believe that the roof (rolled plate) was welded to the cast shell however.

Personally I'm not a fan of etched welds because they never end up looking like solidified molten metal in my experience - much easier to use diluted putty like Mr Dissolved Putty.

I was thinking the two rounded lower pieces at the bottom of the upper turret near the gun. Thanks for the tip.
