Theyve already released two different M-1s. Are you referring to a specific variant?

Ok, as per my original question, Meng has already produced two separate M-1 kits, the M1A2 and the M1-A1 AIM, and both have been out for a little while, is this rumor another new variant or something?

So, a 105mm armed M1 "slick "

Well that's the second company to announce one as Panda did already.

Here's hoping for a 2 in 1 with the options for the updated M1 with bustle racks and APU.

And this interior I would do so I could replicate my gunner's hole in all its glory.

Well, Meng have not announced anything yet. As far as we know, they could never release it...
All I know is that there was a complete CAD of 105mm version (or a couple of them ) prepared for Meng (with a very little bit of my involvement) and they received it at about the same time they also got the USMC M1A1 CAD from the same source. It was long before any Panda announcement. As you probably know the Meng Marine Abrams kit was released a few months ago already. But still no word from Meng about the 105mm gun versions...

And that CAD the Meng have did not include interior.

I saw the Chrysler XM-1 a couple times before it was ever modified. Plus I saw the Allison design once (maybe at Warren Park). Last I heard it was in the Littlefield Collection, but also in very bad shape. The hulls are very different between the two, and I want to say the turret shape was a little different (been a long time since 1978/1979). Never saw the inside of either, and doubt few did see it. Pretty secretive merchandise back then.

From the generic M1 thru the first year's production end, there were several upgrades and changes made here and there. You could probably do a half dozen if your a serious rivet counter.

I'd like to see some of the one off prototypes like the one with the 140mm main gun and big turret.

Speaking of Panda, the M1 showed up on eBay today.
