When the focus is on figures in a diorama, I like to go with resin figures. They are a lot more expensive, but they are also more realistically posed, have better features and real expressions, and their quality will add to the diorama. You can build an interesting dio with only 3 or 4 well-planned figs.

Yes i like the resin figures but the exspence with a tight budget for models I seldom get any resin figures.

Why make a camp? (Toooo much hassle!)
Why not at the roadside by a small refeuling point?
Makes the dio a bit smaller I'd imagine so people can focus a little more on the details of the model......... #:-)

I understand what you mean by expense. Try resin replacement heads by Verlinden, Warriors, or Hornet. They're usually in the vicinity of $9 - $10 for 5 or 6 heads. With the right choice of head, it'll really make a mediocre figure outstanding.
