I am thinking of purchasing this kit. Does anyone have it or know of any reviews? I have been told it is toy like, but from what I have seen it can not be any more of a let down the the HenLong T-55 I have. The kit does not look to be a correct model B but something else. My main question is does anyone think a T-72M1 or T-72AV can be made out of it? I know that this would take work on the turret and front plate but what about the engine deck? My main interest would be turning it into a Iran/Iraq war or Syrian civil war era tank.

Thanks in advance

I have it and have built it - it seems to originate as a RC kit, but is decently detailed and very buildable.

Still detail is missing or simplified, so room for "real modeling" TM

The tracks are individual and steel connecters are supplied - due to bad design you need to apply force, or a file, to make the tracks working.

It will still be impressive build and painted.

I would discuss it, but I don't have it and for the level of discussion needed at this point, pictures will not do.
