Saw this on Facebook it looks like Trumpy is going big with a release of 5 new kits based on the SA-23 (S-300V) platforms. If you get all three of these you might want to put an extension on your house just to display them. https://www.facebook.com/Modelscale.Bruchsaler/photos/a.530896723650278.1073741833.473799539359997/1641126665960606/?type=3&theater

Oh my God !!!!
I'll have to start thinking about that extension to the summerhouse, too frickin difficult to build an extension to an apartment on the fifth floor ....

Edit: In a way it is less than 5 kits.
1. The big radar station: chassis and radar
2. TELAR chassis
3. Crane unit
4. Two-pack launcher (the larger missiles)
5. Four-pack launcher (smaller missiles)
6. Radar unit for two-pack TELAR
7. Radar unit for four-pack TELAR.

TELAR chassis + crane + two-pack
TELAR chassis + radar + two-pack
TELAR chassis + crane + four-pack
TELAR chassis + the other radar + four pack

The TELAR chassis and the big radar probably shares the same lower chassis and drivers cabin so it is only part of the upper chassis that needs changing.

Maximising the economic value of the molds
Almost like buying hamburgers: Do you want a crane or a radar with your TELAR, Sir?

I wonder what Trumpeter will bring out next! Every time you turn around, there's a new kit being released.

Maybe a Topol M in 1/35th. That would take up some serious shelf space.

These are huge monsters, five of them to be exactly. This is about shocking as hearing that they were going to release a North Korean "Pukguksong-2" ballistic missile in 1/35.

They would be some incredible builds an a show stopper if you super-detailed the kits, wonder what type of diorama would look right to display them in ,what era could they could be used in.

The tracked versions went into service 1984.
The final years of the Warszaw-pact, end of the Cold War and onwards.

Edit: One possible and slightly different display option:

How about a 9K37, a 9K331 or 9K332, a 1S12 and a 1S32? Surely someone will release a Buk?

These would not be my first choices for a "new release" but hey, I know they have done pre-production work on some of my favorites so I can only hope that; "good things come to those who wait!"
